Day 10 - A song that you can fall asleep to
Muse - Blackout
Such a beautiful song.
Spent the majority of my easter morning extremely tipsy. That’s what my mom gets when she decides to invite my 21 year old boyfriend to an easter brunch with a waitress endlessly refilling his glass with champagne, and she’s constantly up and about getting more food.
But hot damn, Easter brunch was good. Got to try just about everything; pesto tortellini with cheddar, bagels, deviled eggs, hash browns, crepes, dodger dogs, carne asada, soft serve ice cream, chocolate dipped oreos, strawberries, mexican flag rice krispies, rice pudding. SO MUCH FOOD. Most of the brunch was filled by Monica, Dan, Shannon, and I cracking endless rude jokes about each other, Dan sneaking me booz, awkward T-rex dancing, screaming Mariachi singers, scary faces, and enough laughing to have our bellies aching for a day or so.
…and who knew? I still get easter presents! Target gift card, $10, LOTS of koulourakia (greek cookies), Tsoureki (greek sweet bread), CHOCOLATE, a Bob Marley classics CD, 3 new polo shirts for my new job, and a hippie skirt for Topanga Days.
ANYWAHZ! Now I’m playing WoW and watching the new MK walkthrough with my boyfriend. Soon helping him with HW, sex, snack, and sleep.
How did your guy’s Easters go?
Day 7 - A song that reminds you of a certain event
Cake - The Distance
Reminds me of going to the racetracks with my mom, dad, and monica back in the day, and listening to Cake all the way up, and watching Disney movies all the way back.
Day 6 - A song that reminds you of somewhere.
Date Rape - Sublime
Reminds me of skanking with Rebecca Hebrank at the Ventura County Fair, when we gave up our ride home for the sake of seeing Sublime at the low price of nothing.
